The "Copy Cat" Mom

So I like to think of myself as an original. I really do detest people that pass off other people's ideas as their own...especially in movies. I mean how many times do they really need to remake "The Karate Kid" when the original was so good?

But I digress...sometimes you see an idea that is so fun/good that you just have to copy it. My friend Hillary who blogs on the WholeFamDamily did the ABC's of Me (who she got from one of her blog friends) and it was so much fun to read that I just had to copy it. I had to!!!

Plus I just had a newborn so I'm super lazy about coming up with original blogging material! ;) Don't hate!

A (age): 33...it's my Jesus year to those in the know. ;)

B (bed size): queen...but I desperately want a king, but hubby is being cheap right now

C (chore I dislike): mopping and vacuuming...really anything to do with the floor. I make my hubby do it and he doesn't complain...I really picked a good one there

D (dogs): An 11 year old retriever/pit bull/chow mix named Scout. A super sweetheart and great with my boys

E (essential start to my day): COFFEE!!! A must have for the sleep deprived.

F (favorite color): Blue

G (gold or silver): I'm stuck in the 80s so gold. ;0)

H (height): 5'7"

I (Instruments played): Piano...I was better when I was younger, but I can still get a few classical pieces out of these fingers

J (job title): Wife, mom, homemaker

K (kids): Collin (3) and Cameron (2.5 weeks)

L (live): Lincoln, California...love it here!

M (mom's name): Sharon

N (nicknames): Shan, Shanny-Shannerson, Shanny, Momma, Snuggle Buggle Bear (the last two from Collin of course)

O (overnight hospital stays): giving birth twice, and I stayed with Collin once when he was about 13 months having some tests done because he wasn't mobile yet

P (pet peeves): I have a lot of these...but the biggest are liars, being late, bad drivers, people who don't pick up after themselves

R (righty or lefty): Righty

S (siblings): Mike (48) and Clint (43)...I was a "surprise" so to speak

T (time you wake up): 7:00am...not by choice but this is when Collin wakes up

U (underwear): why yes, thank you

V (vegetables you don't like): Brussell sprouts, cooked spinach

W (what makes you late): Children who dawdle

X (Xrays you've had): hips when I was a baby, chest for TB (no worries, I didn't actually have TB)

Y (yummy food you make): homemade mac n cheese...it's sooo good, yet sooo bad for you! and spicy chicken enchiladas

Z (zoo animal favorites): big cats like leopards, tigers, jaguars, and lions...the monkeys are fun too...:)

I really should have gussied this post up with some pictures, but my newborn is crying and my 3 year old is refusing to nap, so that'll have to wait. Take care!
